Frequently asked questions
Yes, both our standard and air mesh fabrics are classified as B1 fire retardant.
Yes, custom standing flags are machine washable but bear in mind that once your flag has been washed, it will no longer meet the B1 fire retardant certification.

Any of our custom standing flags can be used both inside and out — simply select the flag base that suits your needs. You can choose from the following bases at checkout:
Plastic auger: best for sand
Metal car tyre base: best for car parks and pavements.
Metal ground spike: best for grass and soft ground.
Square steel flag base: ideal for pavement, concrete and for any flags bigger than 3.5 m.
Water tank: recommended for extreme weather conditions and unstable surfaces.
Our standard option is a solid fabric and offers single or double-sided printing. Air mesh is a perforated fabric which allows air to pass through more freely, reducing wear and tear while allowing your messaging to remain more visible on windy days. However air mesh fabric does not offer double-sided printing. Both fabrics are made from polyester.
