The right tags for you will depend on your products and the look you want to achieve. At VistaPrint, we offer plenty of ways to help you do just that. Folded swing tags are a great way to add messages or extra product info without sacrificing your logo, and give your products an extra classy touch. Raised foil swing tags have a sophisticated and luxurious feel to them, while our swing tags come in a variety of materials for standard or more rustic looks.

We offer 3 paper stock options: Matte (300 gsm), linen (200 gsm) and kraft (300 gsm). See the ‘Options’ section for more details.

All our personalised tags are made from FSC® certified recyclable paper.

Labels tend to refer to paper labels with a sticky backing. Swing tags are pieces of thick, FSC® certified paper that are punched with a hole and attached to products with twine, string or ribbon.

For swing tags and raised foil swing tags we offer four different shapes:

  1. Banner 5 x 9 cm
  2. Circle 6.5 x 6.5 cm
  3. Rectangle 5 x 7 cm or 5 x 9 cm
  4. Rounded Square 5 x 5 cm

Our folded swing tags are square/rectangular and come in 4 different sizes:

  1. 11 x 10 cm (5.5 x 10 cm folded)
  2. 11 x 8.5 cm (5.5 x 8.5 cm folded)
  3. 6.5 x 6.5 cm (3.25 x 3.25 cm folded)
  4. 17 x 5.5 cm (8.5 x 5.5 cm folded)

Jute and black cotton strings are available as optional extras for standard swing tags, but are unavailable for folded or raised foil swing tags. We do not currently offer ribbon for any swing tags.

To attach your custom clothes tag to a garment, simply thread a suitable string or ribbon through the hole in the tag and tie it directly to the piece of clothing.

The pre-cut hole size is 3.17 mm for standard and raised foil swing tags. For folded swing tags the hole size is 4 mm.
