Looking for a fresh way to get the word out about your business? Enter our decal collection, including custom vinyl stickers and alternative, PVC-free materials. Bright and inviting window decals can stand out to people as they drive past your shop and entice them to come back later. If you’re regularly on the road, well-designed car decals can help you build awareness as you travel. And when you need to convey safety information to your customers, floor decal stickers are the way to go.

To get started, choose from our assortment of custom decal designs, then add a few key details to your PVC-free or vinyl stickers. Outfitting the windows of your shop front or office? Pick personalised vinyl stickers and decals that include your opening hours and contact information. Customising your car? Feature your business name, logo and website. Our vinyl stickers are durable and are designed to stay in place, and our professional decal printing ensures that your decals will help you get the word out. But when the time comes, they’re easy to remove — without leaving messy streaks or residue behind.

Frequently Asked Questions

We recommend a 4-step ‘wet application’ approach:

  1. Clean the surface onto which you’ll be placing the decal.

  2. Mix together warm water and washing-up liquid, then add it to the surface.

  3. Peel off the decal’s backing, then apply the decal to the wet surface.

  4. Smooth the decal from the centre out, using either a squeegee or a straight surface to remove bubbles or excess liquid.

You can choose between our inside-glass or outside-glass options for either type. Inside-glass decals (also known as second-surface decals) are printed on the cling side. Outside-glass decals (or first-surface decals) cling on the back and are applied to the outside of your car or window.

Our car vinyl stickers use transparent polyacrylate. It’s a removable, pressure-sensitive adhesive that stays put — but doesn’t damage your car’s paint job.

Choosing between these products really is a matter of personal preference. That said, there are a few things we do recommend keeping in mind:

  • If your car has just been painted, we recommend you wait about 30 days before applying a car door decal — or you could opt for a car window decal instead.

  • If the colour of your vehicle matches the colour of your business logo, think twice about designing a clear car door decal. Your logo will stand out better with our white car door decals or car window decals.

  • Car window decals should never be used on your windshield, front windows or any other window that blocks your view while driving.

These custom decals aren’t made for surfaces other than glass, car doors or windows and certain flooring. That said, if you’re interested in adding a sticker to other surfaces, our bumper stickers may do the trick. Here is more placement information for our different types of decals:

  • Window decals: Glass only.

  • Wall decals: Painted plasterboard, plastic, tile, smooth metal, sealed concrete and finished wood.

  • Car window decals: Glass only.

  • Car door decals: Outside car doors, car windows.

  • Floor decals: Hardwood flooring, waxed vinyl, laminate, sealed concrete.

Our custom decals can be repositioned easily, but we don’t recommend regularly taking them off and putting them back on. Doing so can lead to dust and debris building up on the cling side, which can cause bubbles to appear.

First, you’ll want to choose the sticker type that works best for your business. Then, you’ll create your decal in our easy-to-use design studio — or you can upload your own. It’s important to use a large enough font so it’s easy to read, and include plenty of white space so it doesn’t feel cluttered. And don’t forget to include your logo, contact information and business name. Need more design tips? Check out our shop-front signage and sign design articles.
