Turn windows, walls, floors and even vehicles into branding opportunities with durable custom decals.
Looking for a fresh way to get the word out about your business? Personalized adhesive decals for your store and vehicles could be just what you need. If you drive frequently, a car door or car window sticker can help you spread the word while you’re on the road. Bumper stickers can help you do the same in a more fun and playful way.
Bright and inviting window stickers and clings can stand out to people as they pass your store and entice them to return. Once they're in, wall decals are a great way to promote your brand and any offers you're running. And if you need to share safety information to your customers or guide them through your store, floor decals are the way to go.
Frequently Asked Questions
Follow these easy steps to apply your sticker or cling to your car or shop window:
- Clean: Make sure your surface is clean and clear of debris.
- Peel: Remove the backing.
- Apply: Gently press the sticker onto the surface. Start in the middle and work your way out.
- Squeegee: Use a squeegee (sold separately) to remove any bubbles.
You can choose between our inside-glass or outside-glass options for either type. Inside-glass stickers (also known as second-surface stickers) are printed on the cling side. Outside-glass stickers (or first-surface stickers) cling on the back and are applied to the outside of your car or window.
Our car vinyl stickers use transparent polyacrylate. It’s a removable, pressure-sensitive adhesive that stays put — but doesn’t damage your car’s paint job.
Choosing between these products really is a matter of personal preference. That said, there are a few things we do recommend keeping in mind:
If your car has just been painted, we recommend you wait about 30 days before applying a car door decal – or you could opt for a car window decal instead.
If the color of your vehicle matches the color of your business logo, think twice about designing a clear car door decal. Your logo will stand out better with our white car door decals or car window decals.
Car window decals should never be used on your windshield, front windows or any other window that blocks your view while driving.
These custom stickers aren’t made for surfaces other than glass, car doors or windows and certain flooring. That said, if you’re interested in adding a sticker to other surfaces, our bumper stickers may do the trick. Here is more placement information for our different types of decals:
- Window stickers: glass only.
- Wall decals: painted drywalls, plastic, tile, smooth metal, sealed concrete and finished wood.
- Car window decals: glass only.
- Car door decals: outside car doors, car windows.
- Floor stickers: hardwood tiles, waxed vinyl, laminate, sealed concrete.
Our window clings and magnetic car signs are the only adhesive signage designed for multiple uses. These can be taken down and reapplied to clean surfaces as frequently as you need. The rest of our decals can be repositioned during their initial application, but aren’t meant to be taken down and put back up multiple times.
First, you’ll want to choose the sticker type that works best for your business. Then, you’ll create your sticker in our easy-to-use design studio — or you can upload your own. It’s important to use a large enough font so it’s easy to read, and include plenty of white space so it doesn’t feel cluttered. And don’t forget to include your logo, contact information and business name. Need more design tips? Check out our shop-front signage and sign design articles.
Currently we offer custom shapes for some but not all of our personalized decals. Custom shapes are available for car decals, window stickers, perforated window stickers and window clings.
