Yes, our metallic custom pouches are ideal for food packaging. They are leak-proof, suitable for direct food contact and offer the most protection from light of any of our custom pouches.
While the ink we use to print onto our flexible pouches is food safe, it is not vegan friendly.
Our metallic custom pouches are not microwave safe, and should never be put into one. If contents require heating up, they should be removed from the pouches first. They metallic packaging can be stored in a freezer as low as -15 °C, though they are unsuitable for deep freezing.
Your pouches will arrive open at the top, ready for you to fill them. This means you will have to seal them yourself with an impulse heat sealer, which helps protect contents from being exposed to the elements or damaged in transit.
Our flexible pouches are widely recyclable, based on the standards of many recycling programmes. The best way to do so will vary depending on your and your customers’ locations, so we strongly recommend checking with local recycling programmes to confirm the most efficient way to recycle our flexible pouches.
