Frequently asked questions
Each sign consists of two layers of aluminium, with a solid plastic core in the middle. We print your design onto the top layer of aluminium. Depending on your preference, that top layer will either be uncoated, with a brushed finish, or have been covered with a white coating.
On our largest sizes, 1200 x 900 mm and 900 x 600 mm, a total of 6 holes will be drilled – a hole in each corner, plus 2 in the middle. For other sizes, a total of 4 holes will be drilled – 1 in each corner.
After you design your sign, we will suggest a few hanging options before you check out. Here are our most popular choices:
- Metal spacers: Best for a durable and permanent wall-mounting solution.
- Plastic zip ties: Best for a simple and versatile hanging method, great for securing signs to fences, grids or posts.
- Command™ Strips: Best for a seamless, damage-free look on walls – ideal for smaller, lighter signs.
- Standing easels: Best for freestanding signs on the floor or a table – recommended for sizes larger than A4.
- Tabletop easels: Best for displaying smaller signs on a counter or table – ideal for sizes A4 and smaller.
- Wooden stands: Best for a sturdy and attractive freestanding display option.

The number of drilled holes will depend on the size you choose. On our largest sizes, A0 (841 x 1189 mm) and B1 (707 x 1000 mm), a total of 6 holes will be drilled – a hole in each corner, plus 2 in the middle. For other sizes, a total of 4 holes will be drilled — 1 in each corner.
We recommend wiping the front of your sign with a microfibre or lint-free cloth to remove dust. If you need to remove a stain from the sign’s surface, streak-free glass cleaner is a mild and effective option.

Unfortunately, we don't offer white printing at the moment.
Gloss coating is an extra protective layer applied to the sign after printing. It helps protect against scratches, UV light and long-term exposure to severe weather conditions.
Our aluminium signs are designed to withstand temperatures up to 80°C and have an outdoor lifespan of 7–10 years.
While we don’t currently offer a circular aluminium sign shape, you can create one by using our custom shape option and uploading a circular design.
We utilise UV digital printing technology, which allows us to achieve high-quality results.
The weight of the sign varies based on its size and material. For instance, a commonly used A3 size (297 x 420 mm) sign weighs approximately 438 grams, which is roughly equivalent to the weight of a can of beans. Larger signs will be heavier, and brushed aluminium is slightly heavier than white aluminium. You can find the exact weight for each size in our Sizes & Dimensions table above.
