Can you tell me about VAT exemptions?

A VAT exemption indicates that you agree with the following:

  1. Your VistaPrint account for which you are submitting the VAT Identification Number is subject to exemption from VAT charges under applicable laws and regulations.
  2. All transactions on your VistaPrint account must be business-related transactions that qualify for exemption from VAT charges under applicable laws and regulations.

This exemption is accompanied by a responsibility on your part to self-assess VAT due through your periodic VAT return.

Depending on the type of products in your order, and the country they are shipped to, VistaPrint will invoice you accordingly:

    • Belgium
    • Spain
    • Finland
    • France
    • Italy
    • Portugal
    • Sweden
  • If you order physical products and have them shipped to countries not listed above, VistaPrint will charge the local VAT of the ship-to country, no matter if a VAT ID was provided or not.
