Not necessarily. Every business might have a slightly different approach to marketing their business online. Generally, the best practice is to try to incorporate as many online marketing strategies into your online marketing approach as possible, including Social Media, Local Search, Organic Search, and Paid Search. However, different solutions work better for some businesses than others. For example, if you run a business that serves customers all over the country, Local Search probably doesn’t make much sense for you. Or, if most of your customer base isn’t on social media (maybe you run a service for the elderly), social media may not be a worthwhile time investment.
Can I use the Online Guide for multiple businesses?Back to top
Yes! If you run multiple businesses you can set up multiple business profiles using our Online Guide. To add another business, simply go to Online Guide in your dashboard, click “Options” and select “Add a New Business.” Adding another business is free; however you cannot add more than 10 businesses in one day.
What if I’ve already established my business on some of the online directories?Back to top
If you’ve already set up your business on one or more of the online directories included in the Online Guide, that’s great! You can simply connect your Online Guide to your listing on the directory and then you are all set.
Do I have to have a website to use the Online Guide?Back to top
No! You can use the Online Guide to promote your business even if you have no website at all. If you’re interested in setting up a website for your business, we can help you do that. Or, you can set up a free 1-page business profile using our Online Business Card product.
